The authors have recruited and conducted of twenty-two US servicewomen†¦show more content†¦2. They’ve included the perspectives of women that have no hands on experience of MST. The authors wanted to expand their views regarding of military culture, barriers, and facilitators that deals with reporting and care seeking than those women facing with MST experiences. 3. The study provides new information of women’s experiences with military sexual trauma during deployment in which other studies lacks in data and numbers. It could help the military policymakers to take immediate action to MST by improving services and better transparency in the US military. Questions to Consider: I do question why the Department of Defense, the Pentagon, the White House, and the military courts have failed to address military sexual trauma which is a form of sexual harassment among women in the United States military in today’s issues. I would hope congress and the Obama administration will work together in combating the injustice that both men and women had suffered in the military due to MST.
